Spring

We begin planting seeds as early as December for the next spring season. Even though all seems to be quiet at the farm, if you stop by you will find us working in one of our many greenhouses. When you get cabin fever you are always welcome to come in to begin planning your garden early. Who knows, we may even have you help us transplant!

This season we have created an online catalog and a Curbside Pickup option for you! If you have shopped with us before you know that we grow LOTS & LOTS of annual flowers and vegetable plants. This catalog may not include EVERYTHING we offer in the greenhouse.

If you can’t find what you’re looking for please give us a call  (860) 649-2462

Herbs

most of our herbs are either cold crops (meaning they can tolerate some cold nights, or perennials. These will be available, and properly hardened off (ready to be planted outdoors), by May 1st.
Vegetable Plants-We offer an amazing variety of Vegetable plants. Tomatoes are early, mid-season, and late varieties. Many of our plants are beginning to bud already, you can be the first in your neighborhood to be “picking your own”.

Bedding Plants

Annuals, because of their versatile nature, are important for seasonal interest. They can be planted to provide colorful warmth during the winter, or to give splendor to the garden during the difficult summer months. The number of annual bedding plant species and varieties available for residential and commercial landscape has increased dramatically in the last five to 10 years. Botticello Farms is committed to bring you only the best of new variety offerings. We use full size 6 packs which gives the roots plenty of room to grow a healthier plant. (We do not use CT 6 pks!)

Hanging Baskets

Hanging gardens offer their gifts to the neediest of places. They brighten dark corners, soften stark lines, and bring drama to the drab. The impact of a lush, hanging arrangement, or other container gardens, can lighten a heavy heart, and create a drama in a small space. We do not use “cheater pots” our hanging baskets are all a full 10″ size, thus guaranteeing you a fuller, healthier plant.

Perennials

Whether you want to attract birds and butterflies, add interest to a shady spot in your garden, make terrific sachets, or simply enjoy plants of all kinds, adding a perennial (or two, or three) will start you on a love affair that will last a lifetime.

Botticello Farms offers you enriched, screened top soil. Dark Pine or Red Cedar Mulch and fill. You can pick it up at the farm, or we will deliver it to you.
